Six months in jail for eve teasing students in Bashkhali

A student of a technical education institute in Bashkhali was sentenced to six months in jail by a student named Shimul Dee(25) for allegedly abusing the student who tried to Eve teasing  and Eve teasing  him.

Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Al Bashirul Islam conducted the mobile court on Monday afternoon.

According to the findings, Shimul used to harass the student almost immediately on his way to the educational institute. As a result, the girl informed the teacher of her institution.

On Monday morning, on the way to the educational institute, the student was harassed again. On the way back home at noon, Shimul took the team and detained the girl. The student's teacher came to understand Shimul for not bothering him. Shimul also abused him in a vulgar language. After the matter was reported, locals arrested Shimul and handed him over to the police.

Banskhali police sub-inspector (SI) Rubel Afrad said that people took the news to the police at a bakhate from Belchhari Bazar on the Banskhali main road. He was arrested and imprisoned.

Assistant Commissioner (Lands) Al Bashirul Islam said Shimul was given a six-month jail sentence by operating a mobile court for evading the student and abducting the student's teacher.
