Deployed troops to Rajasthani

Army has been deployed to assist the upazila administration at field level to prevent the transmission of the Nova Corona virus, to keep out-of-home patients from overseas and to maintain social distance by adhering to health regulations and to monitor the overall situation, including medical assistance for coronary patients.

From Wednesday (25th March), members of the army of the 23 East Bengal army will be in the field under Kaptai Zone in Rajasthani Upazila.

Rajasthali Upazila Executive Officer Sheikh Chhadek said members of the Rajasthali sub-zone of Bengal, Kaptai Zone, were patrolling and micking at various places of the upazila to assist the administration.

Rajasthali Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Sheikh Chhadek, Upazila Chairman Ubac Marma, Officer in Charge of Rajasthali Camp Mufzal Ahmed Khan, OC Fossil Syed and Onyak Syed were present at the meeting.

Army and police are patrolling two vehicles at critical places of the upazila, including the Bangalhaliya market area. Rajasthali Upazila Executive Officer Sheikh Chhadek said all of them have to move while maintaining social distance. Do not leave the house without need. Necessary shops will remain open.
