CMP's requests for pray at home

Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) has requested Muslims to pray at the residence of the holy body to prevent transmission of the Corona virus.

It was also requested not to crowd the mosque, mausoleum, graveyard and organize a Milad Mahfil on the night of Shabe Barat. The CMP made such a request in a press release sent to the media on Wednesday (8th April).

According to the notice, since the simultaneous transmission of the deadly coronary virus through more crowds, wise scholars are discouraging Muslims to worship in mosques or other religious places.

The Ministry of Religion and Islamic Foundation has directed ten people including Imam, Moazzin, Khadim, and a maximum of 5 during the Zuma prayers during regular prayers at the mosque.

Abu Bakar Siddique, additional deputy commissioner of the CMP (Public Relations), said, "I am requesting Muslims not to be admitted to the mosque on the night of the dead body because of the corona virus." Muslims can worship from any position.
