Valiant freedom fighter Tofail Ahmed buried

The burial of valiant freedom fighter Alhaj Tofail Ahmed has been completed in the state status. He was buried in the family cemetery of Chitpatli Ludi Talukder house of the upazila on Thursday (9th April) at around 11:30am. Earlier, a funeral prayer was held at the Eidgah grounds in Ludhi taluka.

Before being buried, a guard of honor was handed over to the Guard of Honor by the Assistant Commissioner of Land Sharif Ullah. He was also honored by a team of Bangladesh Army. Local chairman Nurul Ahsan Lavu, local hero freedom fighter Alhaj Mahbubul Alam, Alhaj Shah Alam were also present.

It is worth mentioning that the hero freedom fighter Tofail Ahmed (93) died on Wednesday at his residence in Washa area of ​​the city. On Thursday morning after the first funeral, the village house was brought to Chiptali and buried at the family cemetery after the second funeral. At the time of his death, he left behind numerous offenses including his wife, son, son and daughter. He served in the army's habildar and was reported to have participated in the Great War.
