Twenty-three Bangladeshi students trapped in China have arrived in India.

Of the students trapped in China due to coronavirus, 23 have reached India.

Due to flight complications, these students could not be brought directly to Bangladesh. Therefore, the Minister of State for External Affairs, Mohammad Shahriar Alam, has completed the communication with India.

He said they had reached Delhi from India today. The coronavirus is infectious and needs about 14 days to cause symptoms. So they will all be in Quarantine for two weeks, 40 km from Delhi. Then they will come to Bangladesh.

Earlier, 312 Bangladeshis trapped in Wuhan province's Hubei province were returned to China due to coronavirus.

As a result, Bangladeshi students studying at different universities in Hubei Province, China, were blocked when they appealed to the government to return home through the Bangladesh Embassy in China. In the wake of the petition, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina quickly took measures to bring them back to their country.

The airline returned the Bangladesh Airlines special 'Rescue Ferry Flight BG-7002' to 12 Bangladeshis on 2nd February. The flight was not going to match the rest of the detainees. Later, some Bangladeshi students were brought in to talk to India.
