The change is a BNP councilor candidate

A BNP-backed candidate has been changed in one of the councilor candidates in the Chittagong City Corporation (Chosik) election.

Kotwali Police Station BNP Joint Secretary Hafizul Islam Milon was nominated in the 20 No. Dewan Bazar ward. The BNP has endorsed BNP joint secretary Liaquat Ali instead of the candidate being rejected by the Election Commission.

Chittagong Metropolitan BNP office secretary Idris Ali confirmed the matter on Monday (2nd March).
