An emergency meeting on the topic of the deadly Corona virus was held at the City Mayor's office in Tigerpass on Sunday afternoon. Chittagong City Corporation Mayor Al-Hajm Azimuddin chaired the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Chaudhry, Secretary Mohammad Abu Shahed Chowdhury, Chief Health Officer Dr Selim Akter Chowdhury, Chief Accounting Officer Mohammad Saifuddin, City Mayor Secretary General. Abul Hashem, Chief Clean Officer Shafiqul Mannan Siddiqui, Deputy Chief Cleaning Officer Morshedul Alam Chowdhury was present. Speaking to the president, the city mayor said Corona was a contagious virus.

Covid-19 (Corps and Corus Virus Corus Virus) is currently being infected in several countries around the world. In this regard, the mayor of the city also said that due to the outbreak of the Corona virus, many countries are now accepting economic losses. The Corona virus was first detected in China. It is now spread to more than 5 countries around the world. Millions of people have been infected with the disease and 3,000 people have died. Of course, half of the infected people are already cured.

With the inauguration of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the National Institute of Pathology, Disease Control and Research, the City Mayor said there was nothing to panic about in this situation.
