Coronavirus killed 2,120 people, affected 76 thousand

108 people have died from coronavirus (COVD-19) outbreak from China. All of them are residents of Hubei province.

China's National Health Commission said on Thursday (20th February ) that the virus had killed 2,112 people worldwide. In China, the death toll stood at 212. Newly infected with coronavirus


At least eight people have died outside China. Two died in Hong Kong and Iran and one each in Taiwan, Japan, France and the Philippines.

The total number of people affected in Hubei stands at 62,031. The number of victims worldwide stands at 76,262. Most of these are from China.

The most affected outside China is the Diamond Princess at Quarantine in Japan's Yokohama port. Coronary symptoms were found in the body of 221 people in this community.

A statement from Japan's Health Ministry said on Wednesday that four of the passengers who did not receive coronary symptoms were excluded from the prom. In addition, 500 people have been infected.

So far, the virus has been reported in China, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, United States, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Nepal, France, Australia, Canada, Germany, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates and Taiwan.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has identified the deadly virus as a 'serious threat' to the world. The agency's director general, Ethiopian Tedros Adham Gabriasis, said the virus could be stronger than any terrorist act.
